FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Winners!

Its been an epic month of ski racing so far, so lets take you through some of our highlights! Super G – Ladies 28 year old Tina Weirather from Liechtenstein won the the season’s first Super-G race last Sunday at Lake Louise. Weirather was also last years Super-G crystal globe winner, proving herself again by barreling down the slopes in 1:18.52 seconds. Second place went to last year’s super-G winner Lara Gut from Switzerland with a time of 1:18.63, while the super-G reigning champ Nicole Schmidhofer finished third with a time of 1:18.79. Drama unveiled when American skier Lindsey Vonn – the all time biggest winner in the discipline, failed to finish the Super-G race after crashing for her second time this season. Austria Racing Camps

Austria Racing Camps (ARC) has come along way since its opening in 1975 by founder Hugo Nindl -a Slalom World Cup winner, two time Professional World Champion, six time Austrian Junior Champion and nine times Austrian Champion! With such a talented founder, the young athletes of ARC were in great hands. They’ve made the foundation a family affair, with Nindl’s son, Oliver Nindl becoming Director and Head Coach of ARC since 1986. ARC offer high-quality ski training from top athletes all over the world, with many of their athletes ranging from children, to teenagers to master racers from all global backgrounds. Initially starting off with just summer camps, ARC soon offered winter and autumn camps to keep up with their high demand and success. Athletes of Sprongo – Mikaela Shiffrin

As a Video Analysis platform, we are lucky enough to have some amazing athletes using our Sprongo platform to help them achieve success! One of our top athletes is Mikaela Shiffrin. Mikaela is an American Alpine Ski Racer with the US Ski Team. She has won multiple Skiing World Championships and won an Olympic gold medal at only 18. She is the youngest slalom champion in Olympic Alpine skiing history! In light of Mikaela Shiffrin winning the Serge Lang Trophy (also knows as the  Skieur d’Or Award) for this year, we would like to take you through some of Mikaela’s biggest achievements over her athletic career.
