Ron Emery

Ron chose a career in the ski industry as a race coach. Coach Ron as he is known, is a level 400 USCA coach and a PSIA Alpine level III instructor. He has had the opportunity along the way to work at all levels of coaching. Some athletes have made it in the Olympics, JO Champions, Masters National champions and NASTAR champions. Since 2002 Ron has spent most of his time coaching Masters Racing. One of Ron’s biggest accomplishments in Colorado was when he was involved with Jeff Maddex in setting up the Council Cup race for junior racers at Cooper. The Council Cup is still one of the biggest junior race series at Cooper. He finds his work very rewarding and says he is inspired by the smiles he sees on peoples faces when they accomplish their goals.
