How do you play Padel?

Padel is similar to tennis with some small differences. The court is the same but smaller. Singles need an even smaller court but most courts are doubles. The ball is less bouncy and the racket is solid with perforations and no strings. The biggest difference is that there’s a wall behind each side that can be used to bounce the ball off.

What are the rules of Padel?

The score is the same as in tennis, with 6 games per set. The serbing is different as you hit the ball low after bouncing it off the floor instead of hitting it in the air.

The ball can only bounce once on the floor and can only be hitted once by team before crossing the net. It can’t hit the wall before bouncing from the floor, if it hits the wall before the floor it’s an out.

Who is supporting Padel?

There’s a lot of famous athletes who play padel in their free time, like Neymar, Iniesta, Puyol, Fernando Alonso. Even professional tennis players like Nadal and Djokovic. Some are even investing in it. Andy Murray has courts in the UK and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Sweden. Also the Emir of Qatar is a big fan.
