Our goal here at Sprongo is to help athletes improve technique and performance with the help of video analysis. This is why we’ve created an easy-to-use platform that allows you to share and analyse videos to achieve performance excellence. And to help you do just that, we’re going to take you through how to use our analysis tools! How to: Create a Team Page

If you haven’t created a team page on Sprongo, you’re missing out on some awesome ways to improve your teams performance. Team pages are a great way to connect coaches with their students to use video analysis to help analyse technique and performance for the whole team. Check out how to create a team page in a few simple steps. 1. Choose to ‘Create Team’ Once logged in to your account, click on the (+) button. Here you can choose to upload videos, playlists, and create team pages. 2. Input your team name Here you can input your team name and choose who can be invited to the team. By selecting ‘Open to Everyone’, people don’t need to be invited to your team page, it is open to anyone who would like to join. With Sprongo, you can save and upload countless videos to your very own library. It’s a great way to archive videos that will help you improve performance. It could be a video of one of your favourite ski champions’ downhill run, or a video of your own swimming technique. Including drawings and comments in your videos makes video analysis that much easier, not just for you but for your whole team too! With Sprongo, you can add in specific drawings to highlight a movement or technique, and then add a related comment that will help your team better understand the point you’re trying to make. Sprongo Video Features – Overlay, Side-by-Side, Merging, Trimming & More!

Sprongo has many video features on its platform to help you analyse and compare your videos. There are quite a few of them so lets break them down for one by one and explain how and why you should use each feature. Side by Side This Tool allows you to view two videos at the same time, effectively helping you determine differences and similarities of techniques and movements between the two videos. To use the tool, simply click on the ‘VS’ icon that appears at the bottom right of one of the  videos you want to compare. Clicking on ‘VS’ prompts you to select a second video you want to compare and will bring you to a page the views both videos side by side. Tutorial: Video Tagging & Archiving

The Sprongo Archiving & Tagging tool makes storing your videos and finding them so much easier. Sprongo allows you to archive an unlimited amount of videos so that you can store and look back at them at any time. When archiving these videos you have the option of saving them with relevant keywords and tags that you choose to save it with. This makes it easier to find certain videos when you need them. Tagging and Archiving in Sprongo is relatively easy but here’s a few steps and tips on how to best use the tool. 1. To add a video to your archive, simply click on the ‘Editing And Uploading Video’ icon on your Profile Page. 2. How to Share your Sprongo Videos Effectively

One of the crucial parts of video analysis is how you share the videos you’ve captured with your coaches and athletes. Sprongo allows you to build Team pages that allow you to easily share your videos with other team members, however, it is important to note that the team pages aren’t just a place to ‘dump’ your videos in one place for everyone in the team to see- its much more than that. Its all about making sure communication between coaches and athletes is ensured. You can do this by uploading videos with comments and annotations on what changes need to be made, rather than highlighting errors and mistakes. This avoids negative team morale and provides constructive criticism for athletes.
